How many people attended speedway in Britain during the 1950's?

There's no way I know of to answer your question. First there are many many race tracks in Britain, and secondly I doubt that they kept records of attendence back that far.

I know that in 1955 there sere about 200,000 people at the 24 hour race in LeMans France, but that's all I can tell you.
