Car Alarms: sensor adjustment, inset, alarm system

Question
I have an APS-787 alarm system.  How does one adjust the sensor to NOT make it as sensitive?

Answer
Not certain of the system, but MOST knock/impact
sensors havs a wheel inset into it to turn up or down
(counter clockwise is down).

Locate the sensor under the dash and turn down or
simply unplug it. Should be a little oblong box
wire tied up high under the dash, and would
blink when it detects vibration.
