Auto Racing: Ford Engines, new mustang gt500, ford mustang gt

I was wondering if a ford 4 valve 5.4L v-8 engine could fit in to a 2005 Ford Mustang GT which already has a 4 valve 4.6 v-8 liter engine so i was wondering if i took ot the 4.6 if a 5.4L engine would fit into the engine bay and if i would be able to run it in that car if u have any other suggestions or comments please feel free to add them

  Yes...it will fit.  How do I know?  Because it's the new layout for the new Mustang GT500 which will come with a factory installed DOHC 5.4L.  However, I'm not sure at what (if any) modification would have to made.  I'd assume the engine brace would have to be replaced and perhaps some front suspension changes done not to even mention wiring changes.  I'd shoot an email over to the fellows at Sean Hyland Motorsports.  They always seem to be on the bleeding edge of Mustang tech.  If they don't have a solution yet, chances are no one does.  Hope this helps.
