Auto Racing: Is it worth it??, salvage title, swap kits

Question
First of all I would like to thank you for taking time to look at my question(s).  I have a 92 honda accord 2.2L 5 speed with 230 some thousand miles on it and I was wondering;would it be worth it to tune it up to make it faster, and how would I be able to do this without putting a "whole" lot of money into it. Also this car has a flood salvage title but runs perfect if that helps any. Need anymore info let me know.

Jeremiah-

Well...your first problem is the motor.  Even if it didn't have so many miles, it's a F22A1.  F22s have very little parts selection in the way of engine parts.  The parts that are out there are somewhat expensive.  The only way I would suggest you could upgrade the car is by doing an engine swap.  You can find B16 and B18C motors these days with full swap kits for relatively cheap (as motors go).  That'd be your only real option to improve performance in my opinion.  Hope this helps.
