Chrysler Repair: Replacing Switch, 1996 chrysler lhs, tilt column


Question
Multifunction Switch(switch on the left side,behind steering wheel,that is used to turn on headlights,windshield wipers etc.) in 1996 Chrysler Lhs 4d needs to be replaced.How do i replace it without removing the steering wheel?Is it possible? I want to do it myself but,I know it will cost alot for a mechanic to fix it(IF THEY WILL/CAN).Any help?Answers?Suggestions??(I asked this question but my gmail won't upload..I can't check my mail.Sorry)

MULTI-FUNCTION WIPER SWITCH
REMOVAL
Tilt column up and remove six screws holding lower column shroud.
Tilt column down and remove upper shroud Upper Shroud Removal
Tilt column up and remove one steering column tilt lever screw at base of lever. Remove tilt lever and lower shroud.
Using a screwdriver in place of the lever, tilt column down. Remove two mounting screws on switch and remove switch. Remove wiring from hooks and disconnect two electrical connections on multi-function switch. Remove multi-function switch.
INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse above procedures.
