BMW Repair: 99 BMW323i blower motor, bmw323i, correct direction

Question
We replaced the resistor and the blower motor and the blower is loud and vibrating on high speed.  It doesn't seem to be heating up that well either.  Put the old resister in and got a little more heat but the vibration is bad on high and the fan just doesn't seem to be blowing hard at all.

Replacing the resistor only would change the fan speeds,The motor,was it a new unit?Did you have to repace the cage on the motor?As far as heat goes,replacing the the thermostat, is where I would look.Also you make sure you have the faqn rotating the correct direction.
