BMW Repair: 1997 BMW 328i Oxygen sensors and trans, oxygen sensors, o2 sensors

Question
Hello i have a 1997 328i sedan automatic, i had a check engine light and the codes were about the oxygen sensors pre and post catalytic i had replace the 4 oxygen sensors 2 before the catalytic and the 2 after, the check engine light went off by itself after driving for a couple miles, i let the car rest for a few hours drive again about 20 miles and the check engine light came out again but this time the transmission light which is a circle with an exclamation sign in the middle, and the ASC-T LIGHT turned on, and when i put the car on park the rpm went up about 2500 rpm, i went to a shop and ask to for the codes and they told me that the oxygen sensors are bad and something about idle throttle system failure, and a code P1765 can u give me any answer to what is going on with the oxygen sensors and the transmission??, the shifting is ok, no leaks, Thank u for your answers

Answer
I had to read your question a couple of times and check a couple of books.I could not find a code P1765.But from what you have said you replaced the sensors because of you got codes for the sensors.Changed them and the light went out.Being a 1997 it has OBDII if the check engine light comes on the codes need to be cleared or they will stay in memory and the light come on.So I would clear the codes and recheck the O2 sensors.
As for the ASC light were you getting on the throttle and the tires spin or try?And also how has the oil changes been any oil leaks or hoses cracked?
