BMW Repair: fuel leak, fuel leaks, fuel leak

Question
Just bought a 2001 525i. The dealership filled up the fuel tank for me when I left with the car, but when I got home I smelled gas. Looked under the car and saw the fuel tank on the passenger side was a little wet with some small drops of gas. Let it sit for a while and all evaporated. Of course tank wasn't full when I checked out the car, and detected no problem at that time. Something leaking around the filler pipe? Or overzealous employee with gas pump.
Thanks

Answer
Mike if you smell gas still, call your dealership and explain your situation to the sales manager or service manager and have the car towed (flatbeded) to the dealership at their expense and have the car inspected for fuel leaks. Fuel leaks is no small issue. Don't take chances with a safety issue such as flammible gasoline.
