Saab: 1992 Saab 900 16v no start first then start immediately dies, rabbit holes, fuel pump relay

Question
Hi Jerry, Beck here with stranded 1992 Saab 900.  Can you confirm the exact location for the fuel pump relay, filter (if external) on this model year?  I see no reply yet, so perhaps you haven't read my lengthy post from 2AM. The inner pass side next to fender shows main pump relay and abs relay, along with pump relay, which is probably related only to abs components?

Since the engine had not been running for a year I am hoping this is just accumulated debris clogging the filter, and making the pump work harder to deliver fuel, which might in turn fatigue the relay or other fuel delivery circuits?

Can you also confirm the exact location of the 3 pin connector for the cps wiring that runs across the lower part of the engine?
I do recall noticing that the tach gauge was not functioning at all.

On this model, is there also some anti-theft wiring (in the switch coupled with neutral safety issue) that can be by-passed which may be the culprit here? We could be going down lots of rabbit holes otherwise.  If that be the case, then various fuel circuit systems plus spark circuits would be disabled?

FYI, I own the software for this model that came out several years ago for the Saabs on CD, don't have with me. . .just need to locate login info to activate for year to view diagrams.

Thanks for your help!
Beck

Answer
Beck: The fuel pump relay is on a shelf of the outer passenger footwell, behind the carpeting. An easy way to check the fuel pump is to electrically jumper between the outboard side of fuse No.30  and the inboard side of fuse No.27  after removing both fuses.

Also, the fuel filter is located underneath the rear part of the car, near the axle.
Im sorry, but I cannot tell you the location of the crank position sensor cable.
On the earlier 900s (pre 1990) there was no connection between the antitheft system and the engine wiring...it was strictly the mechanical lock in the key console.

 Good luck,
