BMW Repair: passenger door deadlocked shut, switch block, window switch

My 97 728i(e38) front door has jammed shut it seems that it has deadlocked with possibly a shot actuator,Is there a way of removing the door liner card without resorting to explosives or violence,

Craig, remove cover for inner door handle cover and remove screw. Lever out light at bottom of panel and remove connector. Lever out window switch block and remove connectors. Feed inner door handle through panel. Seperate outer door clips around edges of panel by prying. Pull up and out on the panel to release center panel clip. I don't know if all this can be accomplished with the door closed.
