BMW Repair: oil change, synthetic motor oil, internal engine components

hi, i have a 1995 bmw 325i 150000kms.. i've been using 15w40 synthetic oil from mobil 1. i live in toronto ontario, i want to know what is the best oil grade to use for this car?? and what do you think about the mobil 1 or do you have any other suggestions...

Sam, 15W40 is the recommended oil for your Vehicle by BMW. Mobil one is fine. If you wish to use a Fully synthetic motor oil as opposed to the conventional oil you can. It is more expensive, but is easier on internal engine components and can go longer between changes. Castrol is the brand that BMW contracts with. I personally like Valvoline. I don't like Pensoil or Quaker State personally.
