BMW Repair: 1997 318ti Transmission/glutch grinding/squeal, clutch disc, squeal

Started as a grinding when I pushed the clutch in,  has now progressed to squeal when i put the clutch in and a slight squeal when it is in gear driving.  Clutch sometimes hangs up on the floor board when shifting.  Any ideas?  Estimated cost of repair?

Dear Jason,
I think you have a bad clutch. You have to replace the clutch
disc, pressure plate, release bearing, and maybe even the ring gear/flywheel.
I am sorry that I can not provide you with the cost. You can get parts costs by going to Yahoo or Google search and typing bmw parts. Then you can canvass your neighborhood repair shops for the labor cost.
