BMW Repair: Oil change interval, oil change interval, rotor hub

Question
I bought a 1999 BMW 323i used and I do my own oil changes.  Is there any way I can reset the thing that tells when your next oil change is due?  Thanks, Cam

Answer
Cam, please observe the following

Replace engine oil and filter (7quarts of 5w-30 full synthetic oil {factory is castrol}only)
Remove wheels and Check brake lining thickness and rotor thickness (Minimum spec. is stamped on rotor hub on all factory rotors)
Check and adjust all air pressure to spec. (or reasonable level 32psi)
Check parking brake (make sure it hold the weight of the vehicle, no more than 10 clicks)
Reset Indicator- With key off press and hold the left instrument cluster button and turn the key only click forward. When the word reset apears let go of the button and press and hold again until 'reset' starts blinking. Let go and press once while blinking. Should show 15,000 miles approx. left on interval.
This is an Oil Service not an oil change.
