BMW Repair: 2004 BMW 325i remote mirror memory, 2004 bmw 325i, lin bus

Question
2004 325i

Inspection II has just been completed. When I left the garage, my remote mirrors started adjusting without touching the controls. Also my doors were set to open on the 2nd pull, now they are on the 1ST pull. I have pulled the fuse for the mirrors for now.

Answer
John, Get a diagnostic report from the dealer. Your mirrors are controlled over a bus (communication is carried both directions over one or several wires). If you have LIN bus faults in the body controller then replace that mirror motor assembly. Are both doing it at the same time or one then the other? What did you mean my doors set to open on second pull? If the door is unlocked it only take one pull of inner door handle to open the door. If door is locked then one pull will open lock and second will open the door? I don't know what you mean by 'Set'.
