like i am driving with the brake on. the car has no power. usually when i
have my car on drive and i am at a stop, if i let go of the break it
will move foreward, not anymore and when i drive upto my driveway i need
to really press on the gas for it to go up. my check engine light came
on and it said i needed a speed sensor then the check engine light
turned off and the battery symbol came on. i changed the alternator and the
light is still on and my car still has no power. What can be wrong with
my car? please help!

Answer -
Iris, What year and model car are you working on? What was the fault EXACTLY(details). This sounds like a faulty camshaft sensor. Depending on what car you have you can have upto four of these sensors. Let me know what fault you had exactly and the description.

Answer
Iris, usually the car's engine computer (DME) will store a fault in it's memory when the car is running with increase emmissions(or rough). You need to go to a shop and have the engine computer faults read out with a scanner. Ket me know what faults you find exacty as they read. A dealership diagnostic report is the best, but I realize some don't like the dealer.
