BMW Repair: Remove door panels, door latch, bmw center

Evan, I have a 99 325i, I need to get the door panels off for various repairs i.e. windows seem to be off track, drivers side door latch doesn't work from outside, window motors etc. I also have air bags on the doors. Do I have to unhook battery, if so what codes will I need when I restore battery power and where can I get them?

E46 or E36 car? I believe a '99 E46 would be a 323i so I will assume your talking E36. You will need the radio code to reaccess the radio. It is adviseable to disconnect the battery when removing airbags. Turn the radio on and press and hold the "M" button. Look for the Serial number and write it down. Give it to the BMW center and the will get you the radio code depending who manufactured the radio. You will have to have the airbag light cleared if you turn the ignition on with an airbag or seat disconnected.
