BMW Repair: Door Panel Removal, pop rivets, bmw 320

Hi there,

I am needing to reattach my drivers door speaker in my 1991 BMW 320 M Spec but im not sure how do take off the door panel to get behind?

Sam,
 Some E30's had different arm rests, but for the most part they were similar.  Just remove the bolts holding the arm rest on, and then gently pull the panel away from the door.  There are some plastic pop rivets that will loosen, and allow the door panel to come off.  To reinstall, just put the panel back up and smack the panel around the edges til the rivets are pushed back in.  Be careful though, because those rivets may try to pull away from the door panel, instead of the door.
