BMW Repair: odometer, self hope, odometer

MY SPEEDOMETRER IS WORKING FINE BUT I RESET THE ODOMETER TO ZERO AND NOW SPEEDOMETER STILL WORKS FINE BUT THE ODOMETER WILL NOT INDICATE ANYTHING BUT ZEROS AND SUSEQUENTLY DOES NOT NOT ADVANCE TO CURRENT MILEAGE. i HAVE 67,790 MILES ON IT FOR 2 MONTHS.

Jim,
 Looks like your odometer gear is broken.  This is the gear that turns those drums and racks up mileage.

  I dont know what your vehicle is, but if it's an older model, you can go to:

 www.odometergears.com

 If it's a newer vehicle, you should probably go to the dearlership and ask for the gear it's self.
