BMW Repair: 1995 740I water pump, aluminum tubes, o rings

any thing special I need to know before I change the pump Thank you.

nothing too major to watch out for. when you remove the old pump, there are 2 aluminum tubes at the back of the pump that go into the manifold, be careful not to pull them out of the manifold because they can be difficult to get back in. use new o-rings on the pump side of the tubes and a new gasket on the pump after you clean the surface well.
