BMW Repair: Warning light on 1993 318i dash that wont go out., side firewall, 1993 bmw 318i

Question
Thanks Paul for the forum. I own a 1993 BMW, 318i, 96,000 kms on it. There is a yellowish/orange round warning light with an exclamation mark in it on the dash that simply wont go out in the mornings. When I start the car in the morning, I rev it up to btn 2-3 to get it just to nudge abit. I have to switch off and re-start it for the light to go out then it performs normally. I was told it was all about the brake fluid which I refilled but it still stayed on the following morning. I just bought it 2 weeks ago and had it serviced then. Paul please break this down for me.

Answer
that is the brake fluid level warning. chaeck the fluid level in the master cylinder resevoir. it is an opaque plastic container that sits on the drivers side firewall. if it is low, just add some clean new brake fluid. if the level is ok, then it is probably the fluid level switch which is part of the cap.
