BMW Repair: bmw faults, oil filler cap, crankcase pressure

Question
I OWN A BMW318i 1994{L}1800 FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS I HAVE NOTICED A FEW DROPS OF OIL ON THE FLOOR UNDER THE CAR, ON INVESTIGATION COULDNT FIND WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM,A FEW DAYS AGO I REALISED AFTER TAKING A TRIP OUT IN THE CAR,THAT THE OIL WAS LEAKING OUT OF THE ENGINE OIL FILLER CAP AREA,WHEN ASKING A FRIEND TO TAKE A QUICK LOOK AT IT [DRIVING THE CAR ABOUT HALF A MILE DOWN THE ROAD} WE DISCOVERED WHEN TAKING OUT THE OIL DIPSTICK TO CHECK OIL LEVELS LOADS OF OIL CAME GUSHING OUT EVERYWHERE.EVERYONE I HAVE ASKED ABOUT THIS HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS HAPPENING,A COUPLE OF SUGGESTIONS I WAS GIVEN WERE TOO MUCH PRESSURE[havent got a clue wat this means] AND MAYBE IT HAS GOT WAY TOO MUCH OIL IN,WHICH IN FACT HOPEFULLY IS,BECAUSE AFTER THE GUSHING OUT AND GUSHING OUT SOME MORE ON CHECKING THE DIPSTICK WHEN THE CAR HAS BEEN STOOD A FEW HOURS OIL LEVEL IS AT THE MAXIMUM LEVEL, I AM FLUMAXED PLEASE CAN U HELP

Answer
drain out all the oil into a clean pan and slowly put oil in untill either you have the recomended amount of quarts or the dipstick reads full.  if the problem is still existant my quess would be the valvetrain vent is clogged, however the fact that it came out the diptick says the crankcase pressure is too high and that is caused by a clogged crankcase vent tube, chances are both will not be high at the same time so if they are, high oil readings on the dipstick and oil spewing out everywhere imply too much oil.
don't ever drive your car with too much oil, the valves are at serious risk for burning up.
