BMW Repair: 1986 bmw 635csi fouling plugs/loaded up, bmw 635csi, airflow meter

Question
hi mike 86 635csi used new to me been sitting for 8 months  put in new plugs cleaned throttle body  get in hold on shut up run great piddling around with temp sensor afterwards when i restart all hell has occurred havent changed any thing.
plugs are fouled high idle very rich emissions white and heavy smoke cant clear it out what happened what can i do this thing screamed before this mysterious mishap im confused and lost but not mechanically dumb just dont know bmw

Answer
check the temp sensor resistance to see if it perhaps became inoperable.  white smoke usually means water in the system (head gasket) or oil bypassing the cylinder.  you need a 5 gas analyzer to guess and check with the airflow meter, coolant temp sensor ect.  it's hard to say without getting the exaust gas readings.
