BMW Repair: cylinder head question, torque sequence, chilton manual

I have a 83 BMW 320i, I would like to know what is the torque on the head and ciquence. I had put the head on the BMW recently and I think the torque was wrong so I my head gasket went off, now I have a new head gasket but I have not put it on so I now need to know what is the torque for the head.

their are a lot of things to consider when installing a head.  You need to make sure the head or block did not warp out of spec, torqueing them to the wrong spec or wrong sequence will most definately warp the head.  After getting it redecked (should it be out of spec) you can get torque sequence from a haynes or chilton manual ($10 on ebay $15 at auto parts stores).  otherwise you may find one at http://www.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/
