Answer
Hi James,

You'll have to refer to the Service Manual for troubleshooting the problem. Such problems are often the result of a disconnected wire or other simple cause.

Some quick tests to perform:

1) Cylinder Compression: Determines the sealing properties of combustion chamber.

2) Leak-down: Determines the sealing properties of combustion chamber and locates source of leak or faulty part(s).

3) Spark Plug: Check condition of spark plug, fouled? worn?

If you send me an email, I'll return several files that may assist you diagnose and repair your MC. You'll still need to buy the Service Manual. My files are advanced tech intel and supplement the manual. My email addy is: mshively1@woh.rr.com
