GMC Repair: Leaking Antifreeze, antifreeze leak, gmc savana

Question
QUESTION: Our 2001 GMC Savana 14' box truck has an antifreeze leak on the right side of the engine. The fluid runs between the valve cover and the intake. We cannot seem to find where the fluid is coming from.

ANSWER: if its not the intake itself, check the couplers for the heater hoses

QUESTION: Does antifreeze run through the intake?  We have checked the hoses the best we can in the tight space.  If it is the intake where should we look for the leak?  It is almost as if the leaking is only when the vehicle is moving.

Answer
anitfreeze does run through the intake, I would check the right side, rear, you might see some connections for the heater hoses, check those, and also if you can see it, look for antifreeze running down the side of the engine block, see if you can trace it back to its orgin.
