GMC Repair: water drainage, water drainage, c drain

I have a 2006 sierra crew cab. No problems in a year and a half until the last couple of months. It seems that there is water draining into my driver floor board. I removed the padding and placed 2 towels under the carpet. One in front and one toward the back. In checking the towels the next day, the front towel is soaked. Little to no rain during this time. What's up with it?

Have you been using your A/C? It COULD be A/C drain off not draining properly.
The drain MAY be blocked.
If not, is it coolant, like the heater core leaking. It would smell, and you should be able to smell it in the truck also.
Has there been water standing, or you drive through, eg.. a small creek, or puddle standing water somewhere?
