GMC Repair: 1994 GMC Suburban, gmc suburban, hood latch

My hood latch does not work.  The cable has come loose from under the dash.  How do I reconect it?

Hi
The cable has a small "ball" that fits into a slot on the pull handle.
Assuming the handle is NOT broken, you should be able to remove the handle, and reattach the cable into the handle.
The handle may very well be broken, which in that case you'll have to purchase a new handle.
They are pretty straight forward to put on. 2 screws hold the handle on.
