GMC Repair: smell of radiator comming through the, radiator fluid, gmc jimmy

hello im am not car savy but i try to keep a look out for small problems. Im having a problem with my 2001 GMC Jimmy 6 cylinder . when ever i drive the freeway or go over 45mile per hour my car seem to sound i think is from trassmision get louder and louder. Not only that i recently starting smelling something like radiator fluid. because it keep fogging up my windshield vent let me know what the deal. thank you so much -- sw

The smell is probably your heater core leaking coolant. That is a difficult repair which requires the removal of the entire dash assembly and I would not attempt it at home.

The transmission noise is probably a bearing failure and I would advise you to bring it to your local dealer for a proper diagnosis.
