GMC Repair: NOISE HEATER FAN - STICKING GAS PEDAL, carburated, plastic fan

Question
I have a 97 Grand Am, 6 CYL.  The fan is making a noisy whining sound which I used to be able to get rid of by turning the fan off and on, but now getting worse.  I had the heater motor replaced about a year ago and the air conditioning done about two years ago. What kind of repairs am I looking at?

Also, my gas pedal is sticking, but only when I have to make an abrupt stop.  Unusual thing is it doesn't continue to pump gas, because when I take my foot off the brake to start motion again, the car does not bolt.  I have to put the car in neutral and punch the gas pedal to unstick it.  Again, what kind of repairs am I looking at?

Thank you.

Answer
Most likely the fan motor is AGAIN going bad and or there may be a fault in the plastic fan that attaches to the blower MOTOR. You will most likely have to replace the motor AGAIN.

This gas pedal issue is SERIOUS and you will NOT get the BOLTING condition as you would expect to get on older non-computerized vehicles as the throttle pedal does NOT ACTUALLY control the fuel flow as would an older carburated fuel system.

You amy ONLY have to replace the cable from the gas pedal to the throttle plate.
