GMC Repair: tire alignment?, tire alignment, brake pads

Question
On the front drivers side the tire keeps getting low.  I hear a high pitched screeching sould but when I put on the brakes the sound stops-  It sounds like there is metal on metal occasionally- What do you think it could be?  Thanks so much for your help

I take it that this is TWO questions ?. One about the low tire and one for brakes screeching ?.


the low tire is probably caused by a leak (nail) in the tire.

The screeching is probably the warning tab that indicates that you need new brake pads and or there is a GLAZE on the brake pads that can be sanded off.
