My 4x4 doesn't work anymore on my 95 GMC Sanoma
i was told it could it be the actuator
How do I go about replacing the actuator?

Which actuator are you referring to as there are several components that can be classified as ACTUATORS.

It appears that you are GUESSING as to the cause of your problem.

NOTE: Once you buy this actuator and if it does NOT solve your problem, It is NOT RETURNABLE due to it being an electrical component.

Ask about RETURNING IT before you buy it.
