GMC Repair: transfer case switch, side kick panel, e mail address

Question
on a 2001 gmc jimmy v6 vortec a transfer case switch is exactly located, where, a picture woul;d be great, its push button 4 wheel drive, and its switching from 2 to 4 wheel drive when it wants, (transfer case switch), am i right but can not find where it is located if u  could help me out id appreciate it.

The transfer case shift control module is loacted behind the passengers side kick panel which would be to the right side of your right foot as if you were sitting in the passengers seat.

You also have a transfer case ENCODER MOTOR located on the transfer case.

There is a long diagnostic procedure that you MUST follow and perform the tests to determine which component is at fault.

Which transfer case do you have ?.

The NVG 233-NP1 or the NVG 236-NP8 ?.


This is a complex testing procedure and there are numerous test diagrams and procedures that need to be performed.
