GMC Repair: Insturment Cluster, proper test equipment, engine sensors

Question
I own a 92 s15 jimmy. I would like to know if it is possible to change my digital gauges to analog? What would be involved in changing it over? Would it be cheaper to have the cluster repaired? If so were would i take it? I was driving along and the gas gauge the oil guage the speedomter and the gauge for the water temp. went out. Could it be a loose or wire a bad ground.

                      Thanks

Answer
Without an electrical schematic and the proper test equipment and knowledge to use BOTH your better off taking it to a GM dealer who will most likely remove the cluster assembly and either send it out to AC DELCO for repair or if your lucky they will have a rebuilt one that they can install AFTER a full diagnosis has been performed to determine IF the cluster is your problem.

Changing to ANALOG display is NOT an option as you would need to replace wiring harnesses, Engine Sensors and computer(s).

Cost of replacement cluster could run $300 to $500. EXCLUDING any labor costs.
