GMC Repair: not starting quickly, gmc safari, safari van

Question
I have a 94 GMC Safari van V-6 Vortec

I have replaced the fuel pump lat year, and this year the egntion mod., cap& rotter,fuel relay, plug wires, the fuel filter,& the key switch.

When I turn the key on I hear the pump run, but when I turn the key to start the moter it will not fire up right a way like it did be for.
I have to try to start it a few times to get it to fie up.
Once it is started it runs well.
then if I shut the van off and start it when the moter is warum it will fire up rihgt a way.
it makes no differance if I turn the key on and off 3-4 x it starts the same.
Can you help me ?

You will have to get the ignition coil tested as it may be starting to fail when it gets HOT.

You will also need to have the ignition system tested also.

These tests require special equipment and expertise. So find a reputable reliable facility to do the tests.
