i have a 1990 astro van every time i turn on the head lights the fuse for the rear tail light blowsalso the all the dash light went out but still have radio lights
Answer -
What was the LAST repair on the vehicle ?. ANY repair of any nature ?. In most cases problems that arise days, weeks or even months later can usually be traced back to the previous repair.

Have you had ANY rear end damage and or anything replaced ANYWHERE on the vehicle ?.          no rearend damage  have had new wiring done on battery new brake lines new brake rotor,new fuel inj ,it has got to the point that when you  put the fuse in it blow before you get it push in

The possibilities are way to enormous to even try and guess which wire is pinched and or shorted as it could be any where on the vehicle.

I would start by looking at the areas of where previous work was done to see if they possibly pinched one somewhere.
