GMC Repair: 1990 GMC SIERRA 4X4 SLIPPING TRANSMISSON, gmc sierra, linkage

Question
I had a rebuild transmisson put in 5 years ago.
The last few months it has been slipping and clunking into gear.
This weekend it grinded into gear,reaverse, now it will not go in reaverse and jumps into drive.
Is the transmission broke or just the leakage.

it is very hard to say if the linkage is broke with out looking at your car . bring to a good tranny shop and tell them what you told me and they can tell you what is going on it sounds to me like the tranny went again but i hope i am wroang pete
