Alfa Romeo Repair: no start spider, crank angle sensor, alfa spider

Question
I am working on an 1985 Alfa Spider Veloce I have spark and 35 psi fuel pressure but I don't think my injectors are pulsing.  Is the control module the only thing that controls the injectors or is there a crank angle sensor that could keep the module from allowing them to pulse?

Answer
The ECU takes an ignition signal from the negative lead of the coil. There is no crank angle sensor that year. Get a noid light for Bosch from a parts house or tool person and plug it into an injector lead to see if there is a signal or use a DMM.  Did you check for a fuel volume of 1 pt in 20 seconds.

You can also operate starter for 20 seconds or so and then pull a plug to see if there is fuel (moisture on the plug).
