American Motors: 69 rambler coil over conversion, control arm bushings, upper control arm

Question
i found a coil over conversion that says it get rid of the trunnions on http://www.amracing.com/parts/sp001/sp001.html
i have not been able to reach amracing recently. i want to get rid of the trunnions and toughen up the front end for my v-8 conversion. i was wondering if you knew anything about them.  how they hook up or what they take the place of. if you have any information on the subject i would appreciate it.

Answer
It looks like a coil over conversion, which has become popular with a lot of cars. It replaces the trunnion, spring and shock absorber. They probably bolt to the upper control arm as the original shock does. Don't forget to inspect the control arm bushings and stabilizer bushings.
I am not familiar with this company, but if there is a warranty I'd say go for it. Anything would be better than the trunion set up.
Please let me know how it works out. Good Luck.
