Audio Systems: Navigation/Audio System reinstall, lincoln navigator radio, radio repair

I have a 2004 Lincoln Navigator with the THX audio/navigation system installed but the screen has went blank and I can only listen to radio through the steering wheel audio controls. My cd player and navigation system is not usable because of the screen. I was told by someone that I neede to get software reinstalled on it to bring it back up. It is a touch screen system. Where can I get software and what would you suggest I do?

No there is no software for the radio, this is a normal problem with that unit  
blank screen or bad door they always fail of the same, the face moving up and down  after 8 years gets damage, this is a cable that cuts from the main board expensive to repair
