Audio Systems: Static in my right speaker, dodge grand caravan, infinity factory

Hope you can help.. I gave a 2000 dodge grand caravan with the infinity radio.. I installed a after market stereo and all the speakers.. It has been hook up for about 3 months and just today just my right front speaker has static in it.. It has never done this before.. Hope you can help me I'm not for how to get rid of the static any thoughts or answers can help. I just didnt want to pay some one $60 and hour if it's just a simple fix.. Hope you can help. Did you remove the infinity factory amplifier when you replace the speakers ?
if not the amplifier when bad, the reason is because they are made to work with the factory radio that is  1 what x4 , the high power from the new radio was to much input
