Audio Systems: CD Multi Changer stuck - CDDJ Error, cd multi changer, 2006 ford mondeo

Question
Hiya. I have a UK 2006 Ford Mondeo which has a 6CD Multichanger in the boot. We changed the CDs in it recently, but whilst it was running through the cycle to load, one of the CD trays has become stuck halfway out in the drive and now trays won't eject. The Player is showing a CDDJ Error. I have searched on internet for any solutions, but can't really find how to free up drive. Is there a way to reset drive so that it forces it to start loading again? Failing that, I guess I may have to try and manually eject, but don't know how to do this!!! Is there anything that I can give a gentle 'nudge' to help eject? Any ideas appreciated?

Many thanks in advance.

Answer
I am going to guess it is a fuse gone - the one that powers the changer.  Check for a blown fuse; could be there are two places - one under the bonnet and one under the dash on the drivers side.

If fuses are okey then google this "CDDJ Error Mondeo) and you will find several suggestions from various other owners with similar problem.  One just kept pressing the eject button and got results after 11 trys. Another pulled the fuse of the changer thus killing the power briefly and when fuse inserted it reset and worked okey.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.
