Audio Systems: durabrand radio, dodge ram truck, radio harness

hooking up my durabrand radio with a radio harness in my 1997 dodge ram truck. when i get sound finally then turn off my ignition i lose memory in my radio and sound. can you guide what am i doing wrong.

Perhaps you misread the harness adapter kit instructions for its' wire codes.
You may have meant to type factory radio harness instead of 'radio harness' in which, case you are wiring it manually.

Regardless of exactly how you arrived here:
Basically, you have to hook the memory wire (usually yellow) to a constant 12v source.. that is, a source which has 12v on it EVEN WHEN THE IGNITION KEY IS OFF.
*Be sure to install a fuse for the Constant Power source.

The Power lead (usually red) attaches to any ignition SWITCHED 12v Source.  That is, a 12v power source which is only available when the ignition key is on.

Ground should go to the vehicle chassis and be securely mounted to bare metal.

the rest is just speakers. :)
