Audio Systems: marine to car audio, polarity, automobiles

Can I put a marine audio system (subwoofer, etc.) in a car? Would there be any problems if I did?

Answer
Generally, no problems. If the installation is correct for wiring and voltages it should be okey.  (Some marine systems operate on different battery voltages than automobiles, for example.  Automobile are always 12v.  Sometimes polarity is different between marine and car even when the voltages are the same so you must watch for that.)
