Audio Systems: Cd deck install., deck equipment, new radio

Today I'm going to be installing a Kenwood aftermarket deck on my buddys car. He has a 2002 Grand Prix GT. I can install systems and subwoofers and all that, but how do i take off the front piece of the dash so i can install the new deck equipment. We have everything to install it, but that was the one thing i wasn't sure about.

Don't know exactly.  Try this (some expense for the details):

But, if you scout around you can find some screws that loosen up the bottom of the dash so as to lift it up and away so that you can get into the mounting area.
