Audio Systems: car stereos, high output alternator, double din stereo

If i have a 2006 dodge dakota and i hooked up a 2200 watt amplifier and have a 1600 watt subwoofer and a capacitor and a jvc double din stereo what else do i need to get so that i dont mess anything up on my pickup?

You did not give model numbers so I can't look up their actual power draw as the advertised values are often just marketing hype and the real power is something quite different.  

But, with that kind of draw from the amps you will probably have to run special 4 gauge wire directly to the battery and you would be much better off by adding a high output alternator and battery to the Dakota. If you run full level audio for a very long period of time (with lots off gut kicking bass) the battery will run down quickly and you may, after time, burn out the alternator.

But, sounds like you will have an awesome system.  Best wishes!
