Audio Systems: vw monsoon tape error, auxiliary input adapter, electronic tapes

QUESTION: I have an 04 Jetta and use my tape deck for my xm radio.  The tape ejected and now when I put it in it flips from side a to b a few times then give me an error and spits the tape out.  Any help would be appreciated!

ANSWER: do you still listen to tapes ? what is the number on the tape you are trying to listen to ?

QUESTION: No I don't actually listen to tapes but my xm plays through a tape adapter.  I did try putting a real tape (yes i had trouble even finding one!) and it does the same thing.  I even tried one of those tape deck cleaners but it spits it out too!

the radio was made to play tapes only not the electronics device you are using
tape deks only last a few months using the electronic tapes
that is the same reason why the car manufacture voids the radio warranty if you play 90 or 120 minute tapes

to input audio in to the radio use a AUX input interface this plugs in to the back of the radio
