Audio Systems: CD Error 2004 Ford Expedition, ford expedition, cd player

We just bought this vehicle and found out after the purchase that the CD player doesn't work.  Says no CDs are loaded, but the door won't open to load any.  When you start the vehicle it tries to do something.  I can hear the disk changer trying to load, but again the door doesn't open and nothing happens.  I would like to take the faceplate off to see if it is jammed somewhere.  How do I do this?  I asked the dealership to look at it and they agree it sounds like a jam.  Told me to take it to an audio repair shop.

i am sorry but i have to tell you the same,take it to an audio repair shop.
you can damage the unit and removing the face is not going to help you
99% of customer that open this radio to get the cd out can never make it work again and destroy the unit
