Audio Systems: cassette to c.d. recording, cassette recordings, stereo 1

Do you know of an inexpensive unit that will transfer cassette recordings to c.d. format?

I have used my PC to record from other sources. A good audio recorder like Audacity (FREE) is what I use. Your audio card should have a line in. You'll need a 'stereo 1/8" male to stereo 1/8' cord to connet the devices. It will take a few times of trial and error to get the levels (volume) right for recording. Use CD-RWs for a test runs.
