Audio Systems: Pioneer 6 CD player PD-M430, pioneer systems, optics

Hi, thank you reading this. I have the 6 CD player listed above. It keeps taking one cd out and putting another in and will not stop to play any of them.

Did I make a setting do this or do you think there is something wrong with the player?

Either the optics are bad or more likely, the lens has fallen out of the optics assembly.  Pioneer systems have the optics with the lens facing downward.  It is common for the lens to fall out.  The discs cycle through because the player doesn't recognize that there is a disc there.
