Audio Systems: wireless speaker, wireless speakers, open speaker

Hi there, I have an advent outdoor wireless speaker and the transmitter has a headphone plug on it however when I plug it in to my reciever the two wired speakers go off. Is there another way that I can hook up this wireless speaker? I do have two open speaker jacks on the back of my reciever. I would like to have the two speakers in the house on as well as the wireless one on in the back yard. Thanks Paul

Most receivers shut off the main outputs when the headphones are in use.  Unfortunately, the set of wireless speakers you have require a low level of signal as input for the transmission rather than speaker level.  You can try the tape output as a signal source, but that may be too low.
